Areas of application The HOEGGER separator is used to eliminate hard from soft parts in food products, e.g. product peel and black eyes etc. in potatoes, fruits and vegetables. Main applications are:

• Waste recovery Recovery of slivers and nubbins in existing French fry production lines for the use as raw material in value added mash products. Higher line yields! • Processing of cheap products Cheap raw material is processed to yield a high quality end product. • Potato flake production The use of a separator in a potato flake production line to treat drum waste, will increase yield around 2–3%. • Homemade products (Apple sauce etc.) Production of high quality fresh product with home-made texture.
